LUXAMID Nylon Non-Absorbable Monofilament Surgical Sutures are intended for fine soft tissue approximation and ligation where long-term tensile strength and minimal tissue reaction are required. Manufactured from high-quality polyamide monofilament, these sutures are non-absorbable and provide reliable wound support.

The smooth monofilament construction delivers low tissue drag, excellent handling characteristics, and dependable knot security, supporting precise placement in delicate surgical applications. The black colour provides strong contrast against lighter tissue, aiding accurate suture placement during procedures.

This variant is supplied in USP 5/0, 75 cm length, and fitted with an HS 16 (16 mm) non-cutting round-bodied (taper) needle. Taper needles are designed to separate tissue fibres rather than cut them, minimising tissue trauma and making them suitable for atraumatic soft tissue closure.
