LUXCRYL PGA Rapid Absorbable Braided Surgical Sutures are designed for superficial soft tissue and mucosal closure where rapid absorption and short-term wound support are required. Manufactured from polyglycolic acid (PGA), these sutures retain dependable tensile strength during the early healing phase before being rapidly absorbed.

The braided structure is coated to reduce tissue drag and improve handling, allowing smooth passage through tissue and secure knot formation. The undyed formulation is particularly suitable for cosmetic, mucosal, or sensitive applications where colourless sutures are preferred.

This variant is supplied in USP 0, 90 cm length, and fitted with an HRT 36 (36 mm) reverse cutting taper needle. The reverse cutting taper design provides controlled penetration with reduced tissue trauma, combining secure cutting performance with smooth tissue separation for superficial closure.

LUXCRYL PGA Rapid sutures are widely used in plastic surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology (including episiotomy repair), urology, ophthalmic procedures, and paediatric surgery where fast absorption and minimal tissue reaction are required.
