This variant is supplied in USP 0 with a length of 75 cm and is fitted with a single 1/2 circle non-cutting taper point 30 mm needle. Taper point needles separate tissue fibres rather than cutting them, making this configuration suitable for soft tissue where controlled penetration and reduced trauma are required.
