Q-close CLINICEL Fibril Fibrillar Haemostat is an absorbable oxidised regenerated cellulose (ORC) topical haemostatic dressing designed to assist in the control of capillary, venous, and small arterial bleeding during surgical procedures.

The fibrillar ORC structure enables Q-close CLINICEL Fibril to conform closely to irregular wound surfaces, increasing surface contact and promoting rapid clot formation. On contact with blood, the dressing swells into a soft gelatinous mass, supporting effective local haemostasis while maintaining a clear surgical field.

This size variant measures 10.2 cm × 10.2 cm, making it ideal for larger surgical sites or procedures requiring broad haemostatic coverage. Q-close CLINICEL Fibril is fully absorbable, eliminating the need for removal and supporting natural tissue healing.

Q-close CLINICEL Fibril is widely used across general surgery, orthopaedics, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, urology, gynaecology, and trauma applications, particularly where ligation or cautery may be impractical.
