Q-close Fibre Non-Absorbable UHMWPE Orthopaedic Fixation Sutures are engineered for high-strength soft tissue fixation where excellent tensile performance, abrasion resistance, and long-term stability are required. Manufactured from ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), these sutures deliver exceptional strength with minimal elongation.

UHMWPE fibre sutures are widely used in orthopaedic, sports medicine, and trauma procedures, including tendon repair, ligament reconstruction, and soft tissue fixation to bone. The fibre construction provides reliable handling and consistent knot security under load.

This variant is supplied in size 2 with a length of 45 cm and is fitted with a 1/2 circle taper point 26 mm needle. Taper point needles separate tissue fibres rather than cutting them, allowing controlled penetration with reduced tissue trauma in dense soft tissue structures.

Q-close UHMWPE fibre sutures are non-absorbable and intended for permanent fixation where long-term mechanical support is required. Supplied sterile in boxes of 12 sutures for professional clinical use.
