Q-close Mono Absorbable Poliglecaprone Surgical Sutures are intended for soft tissue approximation where temporary wound support and predictable absorption are required. Manufactured from monofilament poliglecaprone, these sutures provide smooth tissue passage, low tissue drag, and consistent handling characteristics.

The monofilament construction minimises tissue trauma and inflammatory response, supporting accurate placement and reliable performance in a wide range of surgical procedures. The violet suture colour enhances visibility within the surgical field, while the black needle coating improves contrast and visual control during placement.

This variant is supplied in USP 2-0 with a length of 75 cm and is fitted with a single 1/2 circle non-cutting taper point black 26 mm needle. Taper point needles separate tissue fibres rather than cutting them, allowing controlled penetration and reduced tissue trauma in soft tissue structures.

Q-close Mono poliglecaprone sutures provide predictable absorption with strength retention suitable for short-term wound support, typically up to 21 days. Supplied sterile in boxes of 12 sutures, individually packaged for professional clinical use.
