Q-close Poly P Non-Absorbable Monofilament Polypropylene Surgical Sutures are intended for soft tissue approximation and ligation where long-term tensile strength retention is required. Manufactured from isotactic polypropylene, these sutures are biologically inert and associated with minimal tissue reactivity.

The smooth monofilament construction allows controlled passage through tissue with reduced drag and a low risk of bacterial adherence, while maintaining secure and reliable knot performance. The blue pigmentation enhances visibility during placement, supporting precision in deeper surgical fields.

This variant is supplied in USP 0, 100 cm length, and fitted with a 1/2 circle taper point heavy wire 30 mm needle. Taper point needles are non-cutting and round-bodied, designed to separate tissue fibres rather than cut them, making them suitable for dense soft tissue and muscular structures. The heavy wire construction provides added strength and stability during passage through tougher tissue.
