The braided construction provides superior tactile feedback and control, making silk sutures particularly suitable for delicate surgical and dermatological procedures. The black colour enhances contrast and visibility within the surgical field, supporting accurate placement and suture management.

This variant is supplied in USP 3-0 with a length of 45 cm and is fitted with a single 3/8 circle reverse cutting precision 19 mm needle. Reverse cutting needles feature a cutting edge on the outer curvature, reducing tissue cut-out while enabling accurate penetration of skin and tougher tissues.
